Directed by Deidre Jones, 'Outside Edge' is a comedy which gently shows the idiosyncrasies of the Englishman's devotion to cricket, feelings not generally shared by their long-suffering wives. Whilst the play is ostensibly about village cricket, it's actually about relationships. Roger, the Captain, struggles to keep his team together as his players find themselves unable, for various reasons, to keep to his timesheet. These complications are nothing compared to the help and hindrance from the players' wives and girl-friends, often with hilarious results.
A fun evening for all and there will be the bar as usual.
