Blackadder Goes Forth

Date:
22 November 2018 - 7:30pm - 24 November 2018 - 7:30pm

The Wychwood Players will be performing Blackadder Goes Forth at 7.30 pm from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th of November 2018 at the New Beaconsfield Hall, Shipton under Wychwood near Burford - 100 years to the month when World War 1 ended.
Performing three of the beloved series’ episodes which include when Blackadder attempts to avoid the Big Push thanks to Baldrick’s ‘cooking’, Blackadder shooting and eating General Melchett’s favourite carrier pigeon, and the famously poignant final episode, there will be many laughs as the absurdity of war is brought into sharp focus by Ben Elton and Richard Curtis’ superb script, which still manages to be respectful of the tragic loss of life.
Tickets are £10 via email: wychwoodplayersboxoffice@yahoo.co.uk or www.wychwoodplayers.com
