Witney Dramatic Society presents 'The Good Life'
Witney Dramatic Society is proud to present:
'The Good Life' - The classic TV 70's Comedy on Stage!
Dust off your flares, grab your gardening gloves and get ready to go back in time to the groovy era of the 1970s with our hilarious stage adaptation of "The Good Life", brought to life on stage by scriptwriter Jeremy Sams, based on the beloved classic TV series by John Esmonde and Bob Larbey.
Come and join the lovable characters of Tom and Barbara Good as they decide to shun the rat race and instead embrace a self-sufficient lifestyle in the Surrey suburbs, much to the bewilderment of their social climbing neighbours, Jerry and Margot Leadbetter.
With its quirky humour, endearing relationships, Margo’s unwavering stage ambitions, the odd escaping goat, an expectant pig and the best dressed scarecrow in Surrey, come and relive some of the witty banter and special moments that made ‘The Good Life’ such a household favourite.
Whether you’re a fan of the original TV series or new to the world of Tom and Barbara, this evening promises an evening of feel-good fun, laughter and just a little bit of compost!
